A lengthy illness terminated in death for Miss Maggie Cora Nickson at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday. Miss Nickson, 73, succumbed in Crosbyton Hospital.Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday in the King Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Elder L.M. Handley, assisted by Rev. Leonard Sims, pastor of the Pansy Baptist Church.
Burial is to be in Crosbyton Cemetery, under direction of King Funeral Home.
A Crosbyton resident since 1930, the well known Miss Nickson operated for many years the Western Union station. It was located in Nickson Pharmacy, operated by her late father and brother.
Born September 15, 1889, at Poolville, she had resided in recent years at Crosbyton Nursing Home.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Lawrence Simmons of Lubbock, and two brothers, Carl and G.C. (Bill) Nickson, both of Crosbyton.
