Obituary

CROSBTYON (Special) - Services for Johnye Nation, 92, of Crosbyton will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Rine, a retired Baptist minister from Idalou, officiating.

Burial in Crosbyton Cemetery will be directed by Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Nation died at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born in New Boston and married Hugh Edward Nation on July 26, 1920, in Texarkana. He died Aug. 25, 1965. She was a retired teacher and a life member of the State Teachers Association. She also was a retired state welfare department employee. She was a member of First Baptist Church and had been a resident of Crosbyton since 1926.

Survivors include a daughter, Mina Horn of Bovina; three grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
