Lunora Murrell, 75, was claimed by death at 12:01 a.m. Sunday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital following an illness. Mrs. Murrell had been a Crosbyton resident 25 years.Memorial services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Johnnie Williams, pastor, and the Rev. J. D. Bilbro, pastor of First Christian Church in Spur, officiating.
Interment was made in Crosbyton Cemetery. Adams Funeral Home directed arrangements.
Born Sept. 17, 1904 in Lubbock, she was married to Norman C. Murrell in 1954 in Van Horn. Mr. Murrell, who operated Murrell´s Drive-In, preceded his wife in death April 16, 1973.
Mrs. Murrell moved to Crosbyton in 1955 from Van Horn. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Spur and of Crosbyton Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by one stepson, Lee Murrell of Bedford; two nephews, Doyle Rutherford of Pacoima, Calif., and Hubert Harber of West Chester, Pa.; and three step-grandchildren.
