CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Dale Leon Murphy, 68, of Lubbock will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Adams Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lester B. Griffin, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial in Crosbyton Cemetery will be directed by Adams Funeral Home.

Murphy died Wednesday at his residence.

He was born in De Queen, Ark., and married Dee Vaughn on Nov. 19, 1968, in Post. He was a welder and construction worker and had worked for Gene Messer Ford. He was a member of First Nazarene Church of Lubbock. He moved to Lubbock from Arkansas in 1964.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Ron Wayne Murphy of De Queen; a daughter, Anita Murphy of De Queen; his mother, Myrtle Nickson of Levelland; a stepsister, Betty Williams of San Angelo; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
