Ruben Munoz Sr., 82, of Crosbyton went to be with his Lord and Savior surrounded by his family and loved ones on Tuesday, November 27, 2012.
Ruben married the love of his life Elizabeth Granado on December 25, 1955; they moved and made Crosby County their permanent residence in 1967. Ruben was known for his work ethic and his helpful spirit. He retired in 1990, and touched many lives while working and living in Crosby County. Recently, he was still receiving phone calls from men; he helped years ago, asking about his health. He loved spending time with his family and was a very loving husband, father and grandfather.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 7 pm; in Crosbyton at Trinity Worship Center located at 3rd and North Emerald. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 30, 2012, at the same church with Rev. Joe Aguliar officiating. Burial will follow at Crosbyton Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home-Crosbyton.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Natividad and Maria Munoz, one sister, Raquel Thompson and a niece Gloria Garcia.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth, four sons, Ruben Jr. and Elva Munoz, Joel and Shelley Munoz, Steve and Diane Munoz, Richard and Grace Munoz, one daughter, Cindy and Pete Payen, one brother, Rogelio Munoz, one sister, Rebecca Hinojosa;14 grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces.

Serving as pallbearers are Carlos, Cris, Marcos, Mario, Jonathan, Jason, Kevin and Nathaniel, Amanda, Kelly, Heather, Emily, Alyssa and Sara.
