Bertha B. Mullins, our Mother and Grandmother, passed away at 4 a.m. April 25, 1990, in Angelo Community Hospital.Services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 27, 1990 in Johnson´s Funeral Chapel with burial at 3:30 p.m. on April 27, 1990 in Crosbyton, Texas.
Our Mother and Grandmother was born Dec. 21, 1902, in Picture Rocks, Pa., to Harvey C. and Emma Edler. She was one of 12 children. Her family moved to Crosbyton in 1913. On Jan. 3, 1923, she married Claude A. Mullins. He preceded her in death on Aug. 16, 1945.
In October, 1945, she was employed by Hemphill-Wells. She became buyer for the lingerie department in 1955, and retired from Hemphill-Wells in 1968.
Her family will miss her very much because of the love and kindness she showed and gave to them.
