Obituary

Services for Stella Morton, 80 of Lubbock were held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 2, 1990 in Crosbyton´s First Baptist Church Chapel with the Rev. Hank Scott, pastor of Lubbock´s Bacon Heights Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

She died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 31, 1990 in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Howland. She moved to Lubbock from Ralls in 1945. She was a retired licensed vocational nurse and had worked at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock. She attended high school in Crosbyton and was a Baptist.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Richard Proctor of Crosbyton, and a nephew, Amon Proctor; two great nephews, Dewayne Proctor and Mark Proctor.
