Obituary

Elmer Ray Morton, a resident of Colonial Nursing Home in Lubbock, was buried Saturday in Crosbyton Cemetery following 4 p.m. memorial services in the chapel of First Baptist Church in Crosbyton. The Rev. Bobby Rine, pastor, officiated.

Mr. Morton was 62.

He succumbed Friday morning in the Lubbock nursing home after a lengthy illness.

Born June 27, 1919, Mr. Morton was a Navarro County native. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Richard Proctor of Crosbyton and Stella of Lubbock; and one nephew, Amon Proctor of Lubbock.
