Dutch T. Morton services held here Monday

Last rites for Dutch Thomas Morton, 75 were held at 3 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church. Mr. C. M. Fields, pastor, officiated, assisted by Mr. E. C. Chron, Abernathy, Baptist minister.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home.

Morton died at 8 p.m. Saturday in Crosbyton Hospital where he had been a patient several days.

A retired farmer, Morton moved to the Ralls area in 1915 from Lamar County. He was a native of Tennessee.

Survivors are a son, Ray of the home; two daughters, Miss Stella Morton, Lubbock; and Mrs. Richard Proctor, Crosbyton; a grandson, Amon Proctor, a great grandson; a sister, Mrs. Aulty Hendrickson, Glendale, Ariz.; and a brother, J. H. Morton, Bennington, Okla.
