Services for Mabel Morris, 94, of Crosbyton were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2000, at Crosbyton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Les Griffin, pastor, officiating.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

She died Thursday, March 30, 2000, at Crosbyton Hospital.

She was born July 23, 1905, in Runnels County.

She married Herman Lee Morris on July 12, 1921, in Crosbyton. He died Feb. 16, 1976.

She was a member of Crosbyton First Baptist Church and the Esther Sunday School Class.

She was a homemaker. She moved to the McAdoo area in 1947 from Kalgary. She moved to Crosbyton in 1979.

Survivors include three daughters, Robbie Havens of Crosbyton, Johnnye Webster of McAdoo and Joyce Ables of Carlsbad, N.M.; two sisters, Geta Wiggins of Las Cruces, NM., and Ada Eva Meacham of Denver, Colo.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Chris Berry, R.G. Havens, Donnie Wheeless, Duane Johnson, Johnny Wilson, and Eric Swenson.
