Memorial services for Santos B. Moreno, a Crosbyton resident for 34 years, were at 2 p.m. Wednesday in San Jose Catholic Church. The Rev. Malcom Weyland, pastor, officiated.

Burial was made in Crosbyton Cemetery.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.

Mr. Moreno was 78. He was claimed by death at 5:45 a.m. Monday in Crosbyton Hospital after a lengthy illness.

A Karnes City native, he and the former Elena Ruiz were married Nov. 2, 1926, in Brady. The family moved to Crosbyton in 1951 from Karnes City.

A farmer, Mr. Moreno was a Catholic.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Jose Moreno of Crosbyton; five daughters, Sally Guzman and Dominga Sifuentes, both of Crosbyton; Teresa Carreon of Slaton, Angelita Faris of Electra and Gregoria Hernandez of Jerrall; eight brothers; eight sisters, 26 grandchildren; and 29 great grandchildren
