Leonardo "Fats" Moreno, 56, of Floydada passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton with Pastor Vance Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Crosbyton Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
Mr. Moreno was born on November 17, 1955, in Paducah, Texas to Leonardo Sr. and Eulogia Rodriguez Moreno. He grew up and attended schools in Crosbyton. Mr. Moreno worked for the Seed Company in Crosbyton for many years. He moved to Lubbock and worked for Borden Milk, Wal Mart Distribution in Plainview and Producers Coop in Floydada. He had his CDL and drove a truck. Mr. Moreno was a member of Trinity Assembly Church in Floydada. He was a loving Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle.
He is survived by one daughter: Trista Moreno of Floydada; one son, Joshua Moreno of Floydada; six brothers; eleven sisters; one granddaughter, Karenn Moreno of Floydada and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonardo and Eulogia Moreno and grandparents, Raphel and Alvino Moreno.
