Services for Elena Moreno, 89, of Crosbyton were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, 1998, in San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton with Fr. Glenn Rosendale officiating.Rosary was held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, 1998 at Adams Funeral Home.
Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
She died Saturday, Nov. 14, 1998, at Crosbyton Care Center.
She was born Aug. 7, 1909 in Texas. She married Santos B. Moreno on Nov. 2, 1926, in Brady, TX. He died Mar. 4, 1985. She was a member of San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton. She moved to Crosby county in 1951 from Karnes City, TX.
Survivors include one son, Jose Moreno of Crosbyton; five daughters, Sally Guzman and Dominga Sifuentes, both of Crosbyton, Teresa Carreon of Slaton, Georgia Hernandez of Jerrall, and Angelita Faris of Burkburnett, TX.; 27 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren and 34 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons and great-grandsons.
