Obituary

Last Rites For C. S. Moores Held in Local Church

Final rites for C. S. Moores, 56, were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the First Baptist Church. Rev. Otis Testerman, pastor, officiated.

A resident of Crosbyton since 1919, Moores was employed by Davis Irrigation Supply. Born in Waco, he was a past master of Crosbyton Lodge No. 1020 AF&AM.

Survivors include his wife, Mae; two daughters, Miss Linda Moores and Mrs. Red Whatley, both of Crosbyton; one granddaughter, Sheila Whatley.

Pallbearers were past masters of the Masonic Lodge here. They were Alvie Ratheal, H. G. Whitchurch, W. H. Leatherwood, C. B. Leatherwood, Jim Blagg Jr. and R. C. Ratheal.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery. King Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
