Services for Elsie Moore, 95, of Benbrook and formerly Crosbyton was at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 23, 2005 at the Crosbyton Church of Christ with Terry Ellison officiating. Burial followed in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton. Elsie passed away Tuesday at Harris Methodist Southwest Hospital in Fort Worth.
She was born November 8, 1909 in Spring Creek, Texas to B. F. and Mary E. (Whitley) Dawdy. In March of 1927 she married Albert Moore in Crosbyton. He preceded her in death in 1970. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a graduate of Crosbyton High School. She worked as a painter and moved to the Ft. Worth area in 2000 from Crosbyton. She moved to Crosbyton in 1917.
Survivors include; two sons and their wives; James and Myrt Moore and Eugene and Ruby Moore all of Ft. Worth, 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
