Services for Opal Moore, 77, of Crosbyton were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 1989 in the Church of Christ with Jim York and Carrol Robertson, Church of Christ, ministers, officiating.Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Moore died Sunday afternoon in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born in West Texas and moved to the Crosbyton area in 1925. She married Arvis Moore on Nov. 19, 1932, in Waco. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Charlie of Lubbock and Robert of Crosbyton; two daughters, Fern Moore and Kitty Joyce McDowell, both of Crosbyton; two brothers, Raymond Tillson of Marble Falls and Clovis Tillson of Bloomfield, N.M.; a sister, Mavis Barnett of Kerrville; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: D. J. Moses, Dee Cash, Don Nickson, Clyde Ellison, Rick Sudduth.

CROSBYTON (Special) Services for Arvis Moore, 82, of Crosbyton will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Crosbyton Church of Christ with Loyd Hall of Gatesville officiating.Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Moore died Saturday, Aug. 24, 1996, at his home.
He was born Nov. 20, 1913, in Owensville, Ark. He married Opal Gladys Tillson on Nov. 19, 1932, in Waco. She died Nov. 5, 1989. He was a member and deacon of the Church of Christ in Crosbyton, and he was a member of the Crosbyton Masonic Lodge 1020. He moved to the Crosbyton area in 1926.
He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include two sons, Charlie of Lubbock and Robert of Crosbyton; two daughters, Fern Moore and Kitty Joyce McDowell, both of Crosbyton; two brothers, Vernie Doyle Moore of Floydada and Reed Moore of Ralls; a sister, Bonnie Flemins of Crosbyton; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
