U.S.Flag   CROSBYTON (Special) — Services for Albert Earl "Sonny" Moore, 77, of Crosbyton will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Crosbyton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Eugene Gentry officiating and the Revs. Oscar Gentry of Petersburg and G.A. Blocker of Lubbock assisting.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.

He died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 1999, at Crosbyton Hospital.

He was born April 4, 1922, in Reagan. He married Lillian Burgess on Aug. 20, 1950, in Kosse. He was a member of Hope Will Baptist in Petersburg. He attended school in Pane Community near Kosse. He worked as a farmer and construction worker before becoming a bus driver and custodian for the Crosbyton school system for 18 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Moore; and a daughter, Amelia Moore.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Ivan Gene of Abilene, Alvesta of Crosbyton, Grady "Blake" of San Antonio, and Marvin of Oklahoma City, Okla.; four daughters, Linda Burgess of Houston, Marian Moore and Betty Moore, both of Dallas, and Vickie Moore of Lubbock; a brother, Ozzie of Dallas; a sister Mae Williams, of Ralls; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

There will be a wake from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Adams Funeral Home.
