Services for Susan Attie Mixon, 81, of Odessa were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, in the Easterling-Wilson Funeral Home chapel in Odessa. The Rev. Robert C. Bratcher, pastor of the Crescent Park Baptist Church, officiated.

Graveside services were at 3 p.m. the same day in Crosbyton Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Rine, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiated.

Mrs. Mixon died in her home in Odessa. Justice of the Peace J. P. Vallen ruled the death due to natural causes.

She had been an Odessa resident since 1944, moving there from Roswell, N.M. Mrs. Mixon was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Marvin Mayfield of Andrews; a stepson, Robert Mixon of Louisiana; one brother, Johny Steen of Plainview; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Mixon was a sister of the late Jack and Ted Steen of Crosbyton.
