Services For W. H. Mitchell, 80, Set For Friday
Funeral services for W. H. Mitchell, 80, will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m., but it had not been decided early this morning where the services are to be conducted.
Mr. Mitchell died in the Crosbyton hospital at 10 p.m. last night. Burial will be in Crosbyton cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.
He was a retired farmer and had lived in Crosby county since 1937. He was born in Tennessee and moved to Hill county, where he remained until moving to Crosby county 15 years ago.
His wife died in 1943.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. John Himmel; six sons, Willard, Raymond, Elmer and Vernon, all of Crosbyton, and Howard and Henry of Plainview; 23 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one brother L. W. Mitchell of Dallas.
