CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Vernon Mitchell, 78, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Crosbyton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Vance Mitchell, pastor of Floydada Assembly of God Church, and Lester B. Griffin, pastor of Crosbyton Firsst Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Mitchell died Friday, Oct. 6, 1995, in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital.
He was born Oct. 14, 1916, in Hill County. He married Almeda Matilda Foust on Dec. 18, 1954, in Ralls. She died Feb. 15, 1994. He was a member of Crosbyton First United Methodist Church.
He was a farmer.
Survivors include two brothers, Elmer of Hillsboro and Henry of Crosbyton.
