Graveside memorial services for Jessie Mitchell, 73, of Fort Worth were at 2 p.m. Saturday in Crosbyton Cemetery, Jim York, minister of the Church of Christ, officiated.

Interment was made beside the grave of her late husband, Raymond G. Mitchell, who preceded her in death Dec. 24, 1972.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.

Adams Funeral Home directed local arrangements.

Mrs. Mitchell was claimed by death Thursday, Jan. 24, at her home in Fort Worth. Members of the family said she had been on a kidney dialysis machine for 10 1/2 years.

The former Jessie Harmond was born Dec. 23, 1911, in Hillsboro. She and Raymond G. Mitchell were married in Hillsboro.

The family moved to Crosbyton in 1938 from Hill County. They resided here 20 years before moving in 1958 to the Fort Worth area.

Survivors include two sons, Bill Mitchell of Fort Worth and Jerry Mitchell of Longview; two daughters, Nelda Martin of Fort Worth and Wilma Standifer of Lewisville; a foster son, Butch Nichols of Sanger; one sister, Alice Robertson of Hillsboro; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
