CROSBYTON (Special) - Mass for Andres V. Minor, 97, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. today in San Jose Catholic Church with the Rev. Glenn Rosendale, pastor, officiating.Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Minor died Sunday, March 1, 1998, in Crosbyton Hospital.
He was born Feb. 4, 1901, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He married Francisca Ochoa Cervantez in December 1919 in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. She died in 1943, in Mexico. He married Inez Alvanez in Valle Hermosa, Mexico. She died June 20, 1985. Two sons preceded him in death; Juan C. died Sept. 7, 1972, and Armando Minor died in July 1968.
Survivors include five sons, Andres V. Jr., Ignacio, Adolfo and Rumaldo, all of Ralls, and Joe of Crosbyton; four daughters, Manuela Gonzales of Uvalde, Marcelina Cruz of Paducah, Juanita Candenoza of Pharr and Connie Zuniga of Lorenzo; 69 grandchildren; 137 great-grandchildren; and 47 great-great-grandchildren.
