Rosary for Adolfo C. Minor, 67, of Ralls, will be held at 7 p.m. today at St. Michael�sCatholic Church in Ralls. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday in the same church with the Rev. Jesse Cruz officiating. Burial will follow in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mr. Minor passed away Friday, Oct. 7, 2005 in Lubbock.
He was born Sept. 27, 1938 in Karnes City to Andres V. and Francisca (Cervantez) Minor. He married Maria Ramirez May 10, 1956 in Poth. A farmer, he had lived in this area for 48 years and moved to Ralls in 1986. He was a member of St. Michael�s Catholic Church, where he was a member and President of the Sacred Heart and belonged to the Guerrero�s.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Melquiades Minor; two brothers, Juan and Armando; and a sister, Manuela Gonzales.
Survivors include his wife, Maria of Ralls; five sons, Adolfo , Jr. of Lake Worth, Chris of Abernathy, David of Garland, Daniel of Lorenzo and Melvin of Lubbock; four daughters, Frances Mendoza of Lubbock, Mary Morales of Floydada, and Stella Mayorga and Bunnie Gutierrez, both of Lorenzo; four brothers, Ignacio of Floydada, Joe of Grand Prairie, Andres and Rum-aldo, both of Ralls; three sisters, Juanita Candanoza of Pharr, Marcelina Cruz of Paducah and Connie Zuniga of Lorenzo; twenty-four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
