Gale Wayne �Pete� Milligan, 76, of McAdoo passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in Lubbock. Pete was born on December 26, 1939 to Warner G. and Oradean (Perry) Milligan in Shallowater, Texas. He married Shirley Craze on July 7, 1974 in Lubbock, Texas. Pete enjoyed watching NASCAR and attending antique car shows. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Milligan of McAdoo; three daughters; Sherri Boucher of Mancos, CO; Kayla Meyers of Lewisville, TX; Stacy Barber of Tecumseh, OK; four sons; Kelly Peeks of Olive Branch, MS; Shane Fondren, Jeffrey Milligan, and Ryan Sims all of McAdoo, TX; his sister; Brenda Johnson of St. Louis, MO; two brothers; Bobby Milligan of Lubbock, TX; Danny Milligan of Burleson, TX; twenty grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 6 pm on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton. Funeral services will be held 2 pm on Monday, February 22, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in McAdoo, with burial following in Crosbyton Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
