Graveside services for Charlene Mendoza, 69, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Rogers, pastor of Elgin Avenue Baptist Church, officiating.Burial is under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
She died Mon. April 17, 2000 at IHS Hospital.
She was born Apr. 5, 1931, in Crosbyton. She married Paul Mendoza. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Hereford High School. She moved to Lubbock 20 years ago from Hereford. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Gary Cole of Breckenridge, Danny Cole of Bellville and Tracy Cole of Eunice, NM; a daughter, Linda Griffith of Lockney; a brother, Benny Dement of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
