Obituary

CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Ramona Medina, 48, of Lubbock will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Crosbyton First Baptist Church with the Revs. Sam Medina of Lubbock, Raul Gutierrez, pastor of a Houston Assembly of God church, and Elias Valerio, pastor of First Mexican Baptist Church in Lubbock, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Medina died Sunday of injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident.

She was born on Oct. 17, 1945, in Matamoros, Coah., Mexico, and moved to Lubbock from Crosbyton. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Julian Carranza and Joe Carranza, both of Crosbyton; a daughter, Christina Carranza of Crosbyton; her parents, Samuel and Frances Medina of Crosbyton; four brothers, Pete Osuna of Vail, Ore., Joe Medina of Crosbyton, Sam Medina of Lubbock and Frank Medina of Olton; three sisters, Elida Mendez and Petra Rendon, both of Crosbyton, and Sophia Moreno of Lubbock; and two grandchildren.
