Obituary

CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Juan Acosta Medina, 63, of Crosbyton will be at 4 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. A. A. Marquez, pastor of La Iglesia Calvario, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

He died at 2:30 a.m. Sunday in Lubbock General Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born in Colorado City and moved to Crosbyton in 1964. He married Velia Bosquez on Jan. 13, 1943, in Acuna, Mexico. He was a farmer and a member of La Iglesia Calvario.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Armando of Miles, Ambrosio and Roger, both of San Angelo, and Ruben of Alice; four daughters, Dora Zimmerman, Adelia Fira and Leticia Chapa, all of Crosbyton, and Maria Medina of Juarez, Mexico; his mother, Romula Medina of Del Rio; two brothers, Leon of San Angelo and Rodrigo of Fort Worth; four sisters, Maria Garza and Alicia Rodriquez, both of Del Rio, Aurelia Guzman of San Angelo and Antonia Gomez of Acuna; 24 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
