J.W. McLaughlin Dies at McAdoo
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday for James Willis McLaughlin of McAdoo, at the McAdoo Church of Christ. Leonard Dennis, pastor, officiated.McLaughlin, 84, died at his home near McAdoo early Sunday. He was a long-time resident of the community.
McLaughlin was survived by his wife, Emma; three daughters, Mrs. C.R. Edinburgh of McAdoo, Mrs. A.W. Frazier of Clayton, CA; and Mrs. Fred Large of Corona, NM; five sons, John of El Centro, CA, S.M. of Hawkins, M.B. of Portales, O.H. of McNeil, AR, and R.R. of Lowell, AZ; a brother, John W. McLaughlin of Roscoe, 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were Ola Moore, Dick Edinburgh, Sam Brown, Ernest Phifer, Weldon Dendry and Charlie Harris.
