FLOYDADA (Special) - Services for James A. McHam, 67, of Floydada will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Ralls United Methodist Church with the Rev. Edward Milligian, pastor of Springtown Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

McHam died about 4:45 p.m. Sunday in an orchard near Roaring Springs from an apparent heart attack, according to Justice of the Peace, J. D. Mitchell, who pronounced him dead at the scene.

He was born in Blossom and moved to the South Plains in 1919. He married Opal Neagle on Nov. 19, 1933, in Crosbyton. He was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Lonnie of Amarillo, Dennis, Wayne and Tommy, all of Floydada; his mother, Minnie of Ralls; two daughters, Peggy Geyer and Barbara, both of Floydada; a brother, Bobby of Sundown; eight grandchildren.
