John Buster McDuff passed away peacefully in Lubbock, TX on November 29, 2015 at the age of 57.
John is survived by his wife, Sherry Ann (Blunt) McDuff; his children Sarah McDuff, Jeffrey and his wife Rachel McDuff, Lauren McDuff, Clinton McDuff, of Lubbock, TX, and Caitlin and her husband Jared de Boer of Fort Bragg, NC; siblings, Richard and his wife Merry McDuff of Round Rock, TX, Evelyn and her husband Barry Hartz of Argyle, TX.
He is preceded in death by his parents Buster and Noliah McDuff.
John was born on August 9, 1958 in Fort Worth, TX to Buster and Noliah. He graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1980 with a BBA in Accounting. He married Sherry, his college sweetheart on June 2, 1979. His children remember him as a, �Tough McDuff� who taught them that grace is extending forgiveness to others even when they do not ask.
John was an engaging storyteller, who had a knack for fixing problems; he was also well versed in the Bible. John was passionate about spreading the gospel of Christ and working in the various churches that he attended throughout his life. Above all, John�s life purpose was to serve God and serve others and to teach his children to do the same.
Funeral service will be held Friday, December 4, at 2 pm at Crosbyton Church of Christ in Crosbyton, TX, with a viewing at noon. Burial will follow in Crosbyton Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.
