
CROSBYTON (Special) Services for Noliah B. McDuff, 68, of Fort Worth will be at 11 a.m. today at Western Hills Church of Christ in Fort Worth with Don Davis officiating and Gordon Bruner assisting.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
She died Friday, July 7, 2000, at Jackson, Tenn.
She was born Dec. 18, 1931, in Pittsburg. She married Buster G. McDuff on Aug. 22, 1954, in Truth or Consequences, N.M. She was a 1953 cum laude graduate of Texas Woman´s University. She was a member of the Western Hills Church of Christ in Fort Worth where she served on the Missions Ministry. She was also the church secretary for 11 years before retiring in 1983.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, John of Highland, Calif., and Richard of Escondido, Calif.; a daughter, Evelyn Hartz of North Richland Hills; a brother, Ren Boone of Las Cruces, N.M.; a sister, Dorothy Gray of Albuquerque, N.M.; and 11 grandchildren.

Buster G. McDuffFT. WORTH Buster G. McDuff, 78, a retired electrical engineer for Bell Helicopter, died at 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2004, in Ft. Worth following cardiac arrest. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Western Hills Church of Christ in Ft. Worth. Don Davis will officiate. Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Crosbyton Cemetery in Crosbyton under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.
He was born May 1, 1926, in Crosbyton and married Noliah Evelyn Boone on Aug. 22, 1954, in Truth or Consequences, N.M. He graduated from Crosbyton High School and was a 1951 graduate of Texas Tech, where he always remained a loyal alumnus. He was an electrical engineer at Bell Helicopter for 29 years until retiring in 1991. A founding member of Western Hills Church of Christ in Ft. Worth, he served as an Elder working with the missions committee and benevolence until retiring in 2002. His favorite Bible verse was James 1:27.
He served as a sergeant in the Army Air Corps in the occupation of Japan during WWII. Buster G. McDuff was a wonderful husband to Noliah, loving her unto her death, on July 7, 2000, and beyond. He treasured every moment of their life together. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 22, 2004. As a father, Buster was one of a kind. He dedicated his life to raising children that would love their God, their families, their country and the Republican Party. His children are a legacy of the extraordinary life and wonderful Christian example he lived. No one could have asked for a better grandfather. He loved all his grandkids, instilling in them the pride of being a McDuff. He was a godly and loving husband, dad and grandpa. His presence in our lives will be missed.
He is survived by his three children, John McDuff and wife Sherry of Indianapolis, Ind., Richard McDuff and wife Merry of Esco ndido, Calif., Evelyn Hartz and husband Barry of Argyle, Texas; and 11 grandchildren, Sarah McDuff, Jeff McDuff, Sierra McDuff, Caitlin McDuff, Arron Hartz, Shannon McDuff, Lauren McDuff, Amanda Hartz, Clinton McDuff, Ryan Hartz and Benjamin McDuff. He is also survived by a brother, Dick McDuff and wife Nancy of Houston; and two sisters, Dorothy Bowers and husband Bob of Houston, and Sybil Smith of La Grange.
