Obituary

CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Mack Charles McCoy, 66, of Crosbyton were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 3, 1992, in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Wiley officiating.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

He died at 7:34 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, 1992, in Crosbyton Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born in Palestine on Dec. 25, 1925 and moved to Crosbyton in 1959. He married Nellie Ruth Frater on June 25, 1974, in Crosbyton. She died on July 23, 1989. He worked for Crosbyton school system for 15 years.

Survivors include nine sons, Michael McCoy and Marian Davis, both of Lubbock, Scottie McCoy, Kenneth McCoy and Charles Frater, all of Crosbyton, James McCoy and Thomas McCoy, both of Sweetwater, and Johnnie McCoy and Oliver W. McCoy, both of Nacogdoches; two daughters, Willie Blue of Lindale and Peggy Williams of Crosbyton; two sisters, Rosie Potts of Palestine and Eva Johnson of Dallas; 47 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Sons were pallbearers.
