Julia McClain Services for Julia Deyne McClain, 87 of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Bacon Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy McGuire, senior pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

She died at 1:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28, 1994, in Lubbock´s Bender Terrace Nursing Home.

She was born on Nov. 23, 1906, in Tucker, Ark. She was a teacher and nurse and a member of Bacon Heights Baptist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star University Chapter No. 1082 in Lubbock. She was a Past Worthy matron and past officer.

Survivors include two daughters, Jann Brewer of Lubbock and Linda Sackett of Grants Pass, Ore.; a brother, Bill Stone of Scranton, Ark.; a sister, Ruby Ferris of Arlington; 10 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
