Obituary

Born March 18, 1893, in Hillsboro, Mrs. McBrayer moved to Crosbyton in 1937 from Fannin County.

Her late husband, Henry Grover McBrayer, preceded her in death Oct. 8, 1960.

Mrs. McBrayer is survived by one son, Henry Grover (Buster) McBrayer Jr. of Crosbyton; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Hickman of Crosbyton and Mrs. Juanita Thomas of Stanton; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Memorial services were conducted at 4 p.m. last Thursday in First United Methodist Church for Mrs. Leetha Jamama McBrayer. The Rev. Henry Salley, pastor, officiated.

Mrs. McBrayer, 81, was claimed by death about 6 p.m. last Wednesday in Crosbyton Care Center following a lengthy illness. She resided at 131 N. Ayshire prior to entering the nursing home.

Interment was made in Crosbyton Cemetery, under direction of King Funeral Home.
