Obituary

U.S.Flag Funeral rites for Bill L. McBrayer, 41, were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist church. McBrayer died about 12:30 a.m. Thursday at his home following an apparent heart attack.

The Rev. Lee Crouch, pastor of First United Methodist Church, and the Rev. Ernest Stewart, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiated.

Burial was in Crosbyton cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.

A resident of Crosbyton since 1935, McBrayer was an employee of West Texas Gin.

He is survived by his wife, Letha; two daughters, Lonisa and Catherine, both of the home; a son, Bill Jr., of the home; his mother, Mrs. Letha J. McBrayer of Crosbyton; two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Hickman of Crosbyton and Mrs. Juanita Thomas of Midland; and a brother, Henry of Dallas.
