Memorial services for Steven Brent Maze of Ocean City, N.J., were at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church of Crosbyton. The Rev. Donald Hancock and the Rev. Bobby Rine, pastor, officiated.Burial was made in Crosbyton Cemetery, under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
The 26-year-old Maze, who was reared in Crosbyton, died about 7 a.m. Saturday in Shore Memorial Hospital in New Jersey from injuries sustained about 10 a.m. Sunday, July 20, in an automobile accident.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Crosbyton.
The Morton native was graduated from Crosbyton High School before serving eight years in the U.S. Air Force before moving about a year ago to Ocean City, his wife´s home state.
Survivors include his wife, Claire of Ocean City; a son, Anthony of Agana, Guam; a daughter, Elizabeth of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Euclid Maze of Lubbock; a brother, Mark Maze of Chickasha, Okla.; a sister, Paula Lehew of Spur; and his grandparents, Pauline Hancock of Crosbyton, Estelle Maze of Lubbock and Ray Hancock of Weslaco.
