Obituary

CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for James Alton Maze, 66, of 2607 2nd St. will be at 10 a.m. today in the First Baptist Church here with the Rev. Bobby Rine, pastor, and the Rev. Billy Burk, pastor of Arnett-Benson Baptist Church in Lubbock, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery here under the direction of King Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

Maze died Monday afternoon in his home. Justice of the Peace Charles E. Smith ruled death was due to an apparent heart attack.

A Moody native, he had lived in Lubbock for 15 years. A retired carpenter, he had formerly lived in the Crosbyton area from 1927 to 1960.

Survivors include his wife, Estelle; a son, Euclid of Ralls; three sisters, Mrs. Loraine Gibson, and Mrs. Syble Brandon, both of Roaring Springs, and Mrs. Geraldean Scott of Tulia; a brother, Cleve of Crosbyton; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
