Obituary

CROSBYTON (Special) - Rosary for Gilberto Martinez, 75, of Crosbyton will be at 7 p.m. today at St. Jose Catholic Church with the Rev. Gerald Leatham officiating.

Mass will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the same church with the same officiant.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Martinez died Tuesday, July 16, 1996, at his home.

He was born Aug. 26, 1920, in Flashing. He married Adelina Guzman on Nov. 2, 1941, in Dickens. He moved to Crosbyton from Electra in 1948. He was a member of St. Jose Catholic Church.

He was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife; two sons,Frank of Richardson and Tony of Lubbock; four daughters, Margarita Salas of Bakersfield, Calif., Julia Jordan and Mary Rendon,both of Crosbyton, and Janie Soliz of Idalou; 18 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
