Obituary

Mrs. Ida Martin, 87, to be Buried Here Today

Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda Ida Martin, 87, will be at 3 p.m. today, Thursday, in the Crosbyton Methodist Church, with the Rev. Carlton Thomson, pastor, officiating.

Mrs. Martin, who came to Crosby County 35 years ago from Bell County, died at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital. Her husband, J. A. Martin, died less than two months ago.

Survivors include a son, John V., Plainview; three daughters, Mrs. H. F. Bruechner, Sweetwater; Mrs. E. D. Galle, Dallas, and Mrs. Arthur Royall, Boyce City, Okla; and a nephew whom she raised and with whom she has lived during the last several years. John Will Stewart, Crosbyton.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Hoyt McClure, Lawrence Starrett, Conde Starrett, R. E. Spurgin, Billie Cornelius and Curtis Gilbreath.
