
Ora �Marie� (Kelsay) Marshall, 93, of Crosbyton went to her heavenly home on Friday, August 12, 2016. Marie was born February 20, 1923 in Denton, Texas to Fred Thomas Kelsay Sr. & Willie Mae (McReynolds) Kelsay. She married James Ralph Marshall in Denton on May 31, 1947, and they were married for 34 wonderful years until his passing in November of 1981. Marie was a school teacher who taught 4 years in Coahoma, 35 years in Patton Springs and later was the Band Director in Afton. She was a member of the Crosbyton First Baptist Church and a charter member of Rainbow Girls of Denton. Marie was a Pink Lady at Crosbyton hospital and was also named �Crosbyton Woman of the Year�.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her two sisters; and her brother.
Those left to cherish Marie�s memory include her daughter; Zanna Walsh; her sister; and three grandchildren; Jed McInroe; Jade McInroe and husband Logan Quan; and Zia Gardner.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 pm Monday, August 15, at Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, August 16, at the Crosbyton Cemetery. Burial will be under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
The family requests any memorials be made to the Ralph Marshall Scholarship Fund.
