Funeral services for Tranquilla (Trannie) Treva Malett of Nash were at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of First Baptist Church in Crosbyton. The Rev. Jim Guess, an Assembly of God minister from Floydada, officiated.

Burial was made in Crosbyton Cemetery, under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Malett, 86, died Monday morning in a Texarkana nursing home after a prolonged illness.

Born in Eastland County, the longtime Floydada resident moved to Nash 10 years ago from Floydada.

Survivors include four sons, Earl of Napa, Calif., Millerd of Foreman, Ark., James of Floydada and Grady of Amarillo; three daughters, Merle Hutson of Mayfield, Ky., and Audie Lawrence and Ruenez Kelley, both of Nash; one brother,O.M. Huling of Fulton, Miss.; and 16 grandchildren.
