Crosbyton (Special) - Rosary for Calistro Luebanos, 77, of Crosbyton will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in San Jose Catholic Church with the Rev. Malcolm Neyland officiating.Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday in the same church and with the same officiant.
Burial in Crosbyton Cemetery will be directed by Adams Funeral Home.
Luebanos died at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Cambellton and moved to Crosbyton from Charlotte in 1962. He was a farmer for many years. He married Isidra Saldana on Sept. 11, 1949, in Charlotte. He was a member of Sacred Heart Society, Cursillista, Legion of Mary and San Jose Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Roger of Crosbyton; two daughters, Angie Buck and Mary H., both of Crosbyton; a brother, Inez of Waxahachie; a sister, Senora Martinez of Charlotte; and 11 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Baltasar Pesqueda, Michael P. Rodriguez, Robert Luebanos, Inez Luebanos Jr., Marcelino Arce Jr. and Tony Robles.
