Joseph Lowrie Services for Joseph E. Lowrie, 82, of Crosbyton was held at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 16, 2006 in the Crosbyton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Les Griffin officiating. Burial was followed in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

He passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

Joseph was born February 18, 1924 in Wheeler, Texas to the late Preston Edward and Ethel (Muse) Lowrie. On January 20, 1951 he married Wanda Lea "Todd" Kamm in Clovis, New Mexico.

He was a member of the Methodist Church. In 1947 he enrolled in Southwestern State University in Weatherford, OK where he was a pharmacy major. Joseph owned and operated Lowrie Drug in Crosbyton from 1953 to 1980. In 1972 he purchased the family ranch in Dickens. He was a member of the Crosbyton Masonic Lodge #1020 and the Crosbyton Chamber of Commerce. Joseph was a US Navy Veteran of WWII and received the purple heart.

Survivors include; his wife; Todd of Crosbyton, three sons; Marc of Amarillo, Cameron and his wife Kerrie of Crosbyton, Jeff of Dickens, a sister; Alice Faye Wilkins of Amarillo, three grandchildren; Erin Lowrie of Bella Vista, Ark., Jennifer Schultz of Irving and Matthew Lowrie of Bentonville, Ark.

Todd LowrieFuneral services for Wanda Lee "Todd" Lowrie, 79, of Crosbyton will be at 2:00 PM Monday, May 9, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Crosbyton with Dr. Les Griffin officiating. Burial will be at the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

Mrs. Lowrie passed away Friday, May 6, 2011 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. She was born on May 3, 1932, in Lookeba, Oklahoma to Helmer and Ruby Lanier Kamm. She married Joseph Ely Lowrie on January 20, 1951 in Clovis, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on June 13, 2006.

Todd Lowrie worked as a bookkeeper for her husband's business for many years. She was Valedictorian of her class in Sickles, Oklahoma. She was an officer in the first Jay-cee-ette organization and the Study Club. She was a Sunday School Teacher at First Baptist Church and was a member of the Lubbock and Crosbyton Arts Association. She loved to paint very much. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one brother and one sister. Survivors include her three sons, Marc Lowrie of Amarillo, Cameron Lowrie and wife Kerri of Crosbyton and Jeffrey Lowrie and wife Kathy of Crosbyton, one sister, Loretta Maxine Mills of Snyder and three grandchildren, Jennifer Schultz and husband Nick, Erin Lowrie and Matthew Lowrie and wife Roni.
