Services for Vinnie Mae Long, 83, of Crosbyton were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Mar. 24, 1999, at Crosbyton First Baptist Church with Rev. Les Griffin, pastor, officiating.Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
She died Sunday, Mar. 21, 1999, at Crosbyton Clinic Hospital.
She was born Feb. 4, 1916 in Crosbyton.
She married William G. (Chubby) Long on Aug. 11, 1934 in Guthrie. He died Oct. 13, 1987. She was a member of the Crosbyton First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and had lived in Crosbyton all her life.
Survivors include three sons; Jimmy Long, and W.G. Long Jr., both of Crosbyton, Gene Long of Barstow, CA., seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pall Bearers were: Bud Anderson, Bobby Adams, Alen Crausbay, Bob Hardin, Gaylon Wheeless and G.J. Parkhill, Jr.
