Graveside services for Gene Long, 68, of Crosbyton will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 6, 2008 at the Crosbyton Cemetery with Rev. Randy Hamilton officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.Gene died Friday, July 4, 2008 at the Crosbyton Nursing Home. He was born May 8, 1940 in Pampa, Texas to the late William Graden "W. G." Long, Sr. and Vinnie Mae Ballard Long.
He moved to Crosbyton in 2006 from Palm Springs, California.
Survivors include; three daughters; Denise Roberts of Barstow, CA, Diane Rodriguez of Palm Springs, CA, Debby Long of Oceanside, CA, two brothers and their wives; W. G. Long, Jr and Nora Jean of Crosbyton, Jimmy and Ireta Long of Crosbyton, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
