CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Olen Littlefield, 74, Crosbyton postmaster from 1934 to 1964, will be at 3 p.m. today in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lee Crouch, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Wilber Gaede of Wheeler.
Masonic graveside services will be in the Crosbyton Cemetery with King Funeral Home in charge. Members of the Crosbyton Lions Club will be honorary pallbearers.
Littlefield died at 1 a.m. Tuesday in the Crosbyton Hospital following a lengthy illness. A native of the Farmer community in Crosby County, Littlefield lived in Old Emma prior to moving to Crosbyton. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of the Masonic Lodge and Order of the Eastern Star and had served as secretary of the Lions Club, of which he was a charter member, for 24 years. He was a member of the American Legion and the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mitt; a daughter, Mrs. Pat Berry of Crosbyton; a sister, Miss Eva Littlefield of Altus, Okla.; two brothers, Fred of Marble Falls and Dennie of Fallbrook, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Olen Littlefield Receives Postmaster Appointment
Olen Littlefield has recently received his appointment as postmaster for Crosbyton. It is not known when the change will be made, but it is likely to be soon.
