CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for C. B. "Bud" Leatherwood, 66, a lifelong resident of Crosby County who died at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital following a lengthy illness, will be at 3 p.m. today in the First United Methodist Church.Officiating will be the Rev. Henry Salley, Crosbyton Methodist minister, and the Rev. Leonard Sims, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Matador.
Masonic graveside rites will be conducted in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.
Leatherwood was engaged in farming and ranching in Crosby County and most recently was a part time employee of the Wake Co-op Gin.
He married Lottie Barnett in Plainview Dec. 7, 1932.
He was an active Mason, and was Past Master of Masonic Lodge No. 1020 in Crosbyton. He was a York Rite Mason. He had served as Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Crosbyton Chapter No. 891. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Curtis, of 5005 38th St., Lubbock; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Sellers of Ralls; a brother, Cotton, of McAdoo; and four grandchildren.
