Mrs., Bevie Arminter Lamb of Christoval, a former Crosbyton resident, was claimed by death at 10:15 a.m. Friday in the Golden Years Nursing Home in Christoval following a prolonged illness. She was 86.

Funeral rites were at 2 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church in Crosbyton. The Rev. Bobby Rine, pastor, officiated.

Interment was made in Crosbyton Cemetery. Adams Funeral Home directed arrangements.

Born March 30, 1894 in Grimes County, she was married to Joseph C. Lamb. He died Oct. 21, 1965.

Mrs. Lamb was a member of the Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a housewife.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. J. E. (Mary) Adams of Odessa and Mrs. Ivy Ratheal of Lamesa; three grandsons, Joe Arnold of Franklin, Tenn., Chris Arnold of Austin, and Marvin Arnold of Igleside; and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Charles O. Wallace, Paul Gilbreath, Willie Smith, Melvin Lehman, Sam Brown, and Donnie Berry.
