B. A. Knott, who lived south of town, passed away Sunday, January 30 at 10 o'clock p.m. and was buried Wednesday eveing in the Crosbyton Cemetery.
Mr. Knott was 44 years and 25 days old at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife and eight children, Ernest of New Orleans, Evie, Robert, Minnie, Myrtle, Vera, Marie and D. C. at home. They were all present at the time of their father's death, with the exception of one boy who could not be located. Three brothers of the deceased were here to attend his funeral, Roy Knott of Dallas, T D and Claude of Milford.
Funeral services were conducted at the grave by Rev. J. C. Scott.

CROSBYTON (Special) Services for Julia Melinda Knott, 93, of Crosbyton will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with Dr. Lester Griffin officiating.Burial will be in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She died at 11:20 a.m. Saturday at the Crosbyton Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Erath County. She was a housewife. She moved to Crosby County in 1924. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She married Bobby Alec Knott in Millford. He died in 1927.
Survivors include a son, D.C. Knott of Rockdale; five daughters, Marie Lindsay of Oklahoma City, Okla., Vera Steele and Bobbie Summerford, both of Crosbyton; and Minnie Gambrel and Jane West, both of Lubbock; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
