Funeral services for Mrs. Deedie Murrell Kelly were conducted at 3 p.m. Friday in King Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Ernest Stewart, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiated.

Interment was made in Crosbyton Cemetery.

The 59-year-old woman was killed Tuesday night in a one-car accident near Tahoka while she and her husband were enroute to Crosbyton to visit a seriously ill brother of Mrs. Kelly, Norman Murrell. The husband, Thomas Fred Kelly, was critically injured and taken to Methodist Hospital in Lubbock.

A native of Dekalb, Mrs. Kelly moved to the West Texas area in 1954. She and her husband resided here until moving about a year ago to Monahans.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Carter of Waco; a sister, Mrs. Fannie Thompson of Crosbyton; two brothers, Norman Murrell of Crosbyton and Kenneth Murrell of Van Horn; and two grandchildren.
